Good Company with John Prendergast
The Deep Heart: Our Portal to Presence
SEPTEMBER 13th, 2021
18:00 – 20:30 (London Time)
Online Meeting held via Zoom
Until the Deep Heart awakens, we will believe and feel that we are a separate-inside-self in a separate-outside-world.
The Study Society is delighted to host a talk and ‘experiential conversation’ with Dr. John Prendergast. John is a spiritual teacher, author, psychotherapist, and retired adjunct professor of psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies. A long-time student of Jean Klein and Adyashanti, he is the author of ‘The Deep Heart: Our Portal To Presence’, as well as ‘In Touch: How to Tune in to the Inner Guidance of Your Body and Trust Yourself.
The “deep heart” is Prendergast’s term for the subtle center of emotional and energetic sensitivity, relational intimacy, profound inner knowing, and wholeness found within our hearts. He offers precise and potent meditative inquiries to help open your heart, cut through core limiting beliefs, and discover the true nature of our being.
As John says, the great human quest is to discover who we really are – a discovery that changes our lives and the lives of those around us. With The Deep Heart, John speaks to the pilgrimage within, using the heart as a portal to our true psychological and spiritual nature.
During this Good Company gathering, John will invite us to explore a short inner experience around body sensing and inquiry. The Study Society will facilitate a half hour silent meditation from 18:00-18:30 prior to John’s talk. All are welcome to join.
