In the poetry group, in meditative silence, we read and share poems by Rumi and other poets from all of the world's mystical and spiritual traditions, in all languages and from all historical eras, with song and music. The 'theme of the month' will be posted here and on our website blog www.rumiandfriends.org a few days ahead of the next meeting, along with notification of any events that might be taking place outside Colet House. You are invited to see the Whirling Dervish ceremony (Mukabele) at 7.45 pm. If you would like to stay for the tea party in the refectory afterwards please bring along a little food to share. You can attend either or both events. If you just want to attend the Whirling Dervishes you need to be seated in the top studio by 7.45. We now ask for a suggested donation of £10 per person for the evening (or £5 just for the Rumi poetry ), to help preserve this ancient tradition into the future. Please arrive early to be sure of a place. Doors close at 8.00pm
