Advaita Sundays

(Non-duality Workshops)

Ripples

Non-duality Workshops offer a place where insights and experiences of non-duality can be shared, calling on teaching from whichever source is found to be of value. They have no set format. Non-members of the Society are especially welcome and the meetings are found to be of particular help to those who have spent some time investigating the non-dual concepts and wish to test their understanding with others of a like mind.

Non-duality Workshops are held on the first and third Sundays of most months from 10:30 am through to around 12:45 pm. Dates may change so please check the Diary. All are welcome to come along and share their knowledge and experience. Sometimes a topic is selected to focus discussion but no theory is offered leaving attendees free to speak from their own awareness at the time. Just turn up. From around 12:45 pm lunch is shared for those wishing to continue the discussion informally. Admission is free but donations are welcome.

Dates in 2014: April 6, May 4, May 18, June 1, June 15, July 6, July 20, August (no workshops), September 21, October 5, October 19, November 2, November 16, December 6.

The Study Society is informed by the teaching of Shantanand Saraswati, one time Shankaracharya of the north of India in the Shankara tradition, but also draws on modern expressions of non-duality. Those who take part in these workshops often find that the discussions give them greater meaning within their lives and inclusivity in society.
